What is your favorite nutritious dish to make with family or friends?

While I enjoy making Turkey Sloppy Joes with my family and friends, my favorite recipe is for Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal.

CAN YOU GIVE THE PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA OATMEAL RECIPE?

Sure, I’d love to share it!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup instant oatmeal
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4-1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
  • 1 tablespoon all natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 large banana
  • 1 graham cracker square
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place the oatmeal and water in a medium size bowl; microwave for 3 minutes.
  2. Remove the oatmeal from microwave and add the soymilk and peanut butter, stirring to make sure they are evenly distributed.
  3. Slice the banana very thinly over top of the oatmeal. Then, crumble the graham cracker on top.
  4. To serve, top with cinnamon and more soy milk, if desired.
