KidsHealth is a nonprofit website that provides doctor-approved health information about children from before birth through adolescence. Created by The Nemours Foundation’s Center for Children’s Health Media, the award-winning KidsHealth website provides families with accurate, up-to-date, and jargon-free health information they can use. KidsHealth seeks to make information understandable, reliable, practical and objective.

Launched in 1995, KidsHealth has separate areas for kids, teens, and parents – each with its own design, age-appropriate content and tone. There are literally thousands of in-depth features, articles, animations, games, and resources – all original and all developed by experts in the health of children and teens.

While KidsHealth answers questions about a wide variety of health and wellness questions, it also features recipes specifically created for teens and kids. In addition, there is a kids section on Staying Healthy and a teens section about Food and Fitness. In addition to a Parents section just for them, parents can may also be interested in picking up a copy of the KidsHealth book, Fit Kids: A Practical Guide to Raising Active and Healthy Children. Note: KidsHealth also provides information in Spanish for Spanish-speaking readers!
