Meal Makeover Moms

March 1, 2011  •

If you struggle to get your family to eat healthy meals, you’ll want to stop by the Meal Makeover Moms website, where you’ll find kid-friendly recipes, tips for picky eaters, lunch, snack and dessert ideas, and practical advice on bringing good nutrition to the dinner table.

Dietitians Janice Newell Bissex, MS, RD and Liz Weiss, MS, RD, are authors of The Moms’ Guide to Meal Makeovers: Improving the Way Your Family Eats, One Meal at a Time, one of three finalists for the 2005 International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Cookbook Award in the Health & Special Diet category. They’ve recently added to their cookbook collection with No Whine with Dinner: 150 Healthy, Kid-Tested Recipes from The Meal Makeover Moms.

This dietitian duo also founded MealMakeoverMoms.com and the free online Meal Makeover Moms’ Club, now close to 8,000 members strong. They post each week to their family-food blog, Meal Makeover Moms’ Kitchen, and host a weekly radio podcast, Cooking with the Moms.

Their recipes and mealtime advice – based on years of in-the-trenches experience feeding their own families – have been featured on hundreds of television and radio programs. Visit the Meal Makover Moms website for to learn from their wealth of experience and exchange ideas with fellow parents!
